Another exclusive (Jan 11, 2019 - see below) Human Performance Training announcement from your friends at HP Tools:

After many verbal and email requests over past months to offer public "Human Performance Improvement" training for single learners or small groups, we have finally planned public classes! These offerings will cover 8 hours of Human Performance Fundamentals (human error reduction and event prevention).

Target audience: All field personnel and leadership team members of organizations focused on constantly improving.
Description

Students will engage in a dynamic learning environment using activities that will encourage demonstration of human performance tool usage, and understanding of human performance fundamentals of improvement and what the mission encompasses. James Newman will be the instructor.

Feedback so far

The class has been going really well and people love the  delivery methods used and the accommodations, and we are also really happy with the location. We've been asked and are considering offering two-day sessions, where we explore certain aspects of fundamentals in a deeper dive on day two, most likely exploring error precursors and Human Performance Tool selection and usage in greater depth.

Location

The classroom chosen for these events is ideally located in Rhode Island, just 5 miles away from T.F. Green International Airport (2000 Post Rd, Warwick, RI 02886) at a huge coffee house called "Brewed Awakenings" located at 1316 Bald Hill Road in Warwick, RI.  From their site: "It’s the biggest coffee house in the state, and maybe even in the country!"  The accommodations are quite lovely, and plenty of local hotels to stay nearby if you plan on coming in from out of the area. There are also loads of things to do in the area! Amazing Casinos, Mystic Seaport, entertainment, shopping, and wonderful restaurants! Here are some shots of the location:
