Listen to the Real Deal Business Podcast with Anthony Chabot

Tony Chabot

Tony Chabot seriously is a really great guy. Born in 1972 and spending most of his life in Northeastern Connecticut, he and I have a lot in common - especially, three things: we love being fathers, being kinda nerdy with tech, and trying to get local businesses to support each other.

We do have a fourth thing in common, and I think a lot of businesses hold this philosophy: Clients come first.

Tony is an active member of the Killingly Business Association and I run the Meetup group called Killingly Masterminds.

He does many kind things for others (and hasn't asked me for anything in return), so I wanted to surprise him with a blogpost about him and some of what he does. He is a realtor - and not your average one. He invested in and learned how to use Matterport's amazing 3D house photography and floor plan mapping camera.

He also does beautiful 4K drone photography and videography (and has been doing this for quite a while now). If you want to learn more about this photo and video service, his website for that is found here. Click on his picture to see a quick video of one of his incredible projects.

How I ended up on his podcast

Tony contacted me because of a mutual local friend I met at a Human Performance conference two summers ago. In just a couple of conversations he was in my office recording this podcast episode. It was a lot of fun talking to someone about Human Performance Improvement whom has never even heard of it before. The conversation takes some segues, but it's just that - a conversation between someone interested in learning, and someone interested in sharing. He's a deep listener and provides thoughtful introspection.

Tony started his "Real Deal Business Podcast" in January 2018 and doesn't have an official release schedule of when episodes are coming out, but he does keep them coming and just published his 34th episode, which is very impressive in the podcasting world. Some of them are fairly short, but some over the 80-minute mark. He keeps the conversation flowing and the time really flies.

If you are into real estate and want to hear from others in the field, Tony has also created a podcast called the Real Deal Real Estate Podcast found by clicking here. He interviews mortgage brokers, partners, loan officers, inspectors, mold experts and a lot more.

Getting a little personal

Tony and I are both sincere lovers of music and the moods created when whether working, or relaxing. He's a big fan of the Cali-Reggae scene. He highly recommends "Stick Figure" and "Slightly Stoopid", while I'm really into new music from "Blink 182" and "Angels & Airwaves."
